Trying to no overwhelm you all and write too much but just wanted to share the state of Isaac and this picture so you can rejoice with us.
The progress that Isaac has made is incredible. No epidural, no central line, and no catheter. IV still in, but the tube is unhooked. He's functioning well on just Tylenol and Oxy (and a small dose of morphine after the epidural was pulled). We have been playing since 6:30 and that was after 30 minutes of trying to convince him to sleep.
We have pooped, peed, and are eating well. Checkout today we hope, but if not today it will for sure be before Sunday. Compare today's picture with just a couple days ago. The swelling has already gone down considerably! We don't have his cortisol or ACTH levels back yet (probably today on cortisol) but this proof is almost enough for me!
The next big hurdle and test is waiting for lab tests back on the tumor and then figuring out what the chemo treatment will be.
Just realized with this blog update that I can copy/paste over to Facebook well. Sometimes the brain works a little slooow.
Thank you all so much! It's incredible to think how life has changed in the 12 days.
